CryptoBuxx (www.CryptoBuxx.com) has recently introduced a crypto gift card program that make it easy to give Bitcoin and other popular crypto currencies to friends and family even if they do not yet have a crypto wallet.
“Giving crypto currency is not easy, especially if it the recipient does not already have a crypto wallet, said William Rice, Founder of CryptoBuxx. “Sometimes you just want to have something valuable to add to a birthday or graduation card for someone special, something that will not necessarily be spent right away like a gift card, something that can provide value over time. CryptoBuxx goal is to make it easy to give the gift of crypto even if the recipient does not yet have a crypto wallet.”
CryptoBuxx gift certificates are offered in three types:
- Printed – Printed on offset-presses, the colorful printed CryptoBuxx are 2.625 x 6.125 inches, approximately the size of a US Dollar bill. It features images from the crypto coin’s website on two sides. A security code is covered with a scratch off covering for additional security.

The Satoshi is the smallest unit of the cryptocurrency bitcoin. It is named after Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder(s) of the protocol. The Satoshi to bitcoin ratio is 100 million Satoshis to one bitcoin. At a Bitcoin price of $36,074.07, the 0.01 Bitcoin CryptoBuxx would be valued at 1,000,000 Satoshis or $416.67 US Dollars. The 0.0025 Bitcoin CryptoBuxx would be valued at 250,000 Satoshis or $104.17 US Dollars. And the 0.00025 Bitcoin CryptoBuxx would be valued at 25,000 Satoshis or $10.42 US Dollars.
The price of the CryptoBuxx includes the cost of the underlying Bitcoin plus $2.99 for Paper CryptoBuxx and $1.99 for Digital CryptoBuxx that can be emailed and printed anywhere. CryptoBuxx are redeemed based on a specific number of coins, not a dollar value, so the value of the coins when redeemed may be higher or lower than when purchased. There is no additional cost to redeem. Payment can be made via credit card or several crypto currencies.
In addition to Bitcoin, CryptoBuxx gift certificates are also available for Cardano, Doge, Shiba Inu and Tether crypto currencies.
CryptoBuxx gift certificates are the easiest way to share crypto currency with anyone. The recipient does not need to have an existing crypto wallet to receive a CryptoBuxx. The CryptoBuxx Website will provide step-by-step instructions on how to establish an account at a leading Crypto Exchange, like Coinbase or BitMart, and then redeem the crypto directly into that account.
About Bitcoin
Bitcoin was first introduced under a pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto in October, 2008 and then launched in 2009. Nakamoto published Bitcoin’s whitepaper, which described in detail how a peer-to-peer, online currency could be implemented. They proposed to use a decentralized ledger of transactions packaged in batches (called “blocks”) and secured by cryptographic algorithms — the whole system would later be dubbed “blockchain.”

Bitcoin price was $0 when first introduced. The first known Bitcoin commercial transaction occurred on May 22, 2010, when programmer Laszlo Hanyecz traded 10,000 Bitcoins for two pizzas. This event is now known as “Bitcoin Pizza Day.”
Today, Bitcoin has managed to create a global community and give birth to an entirely new industry of millions of enthusiasts who create, invest in, trade and use Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their everyday lives. Bitcoin is based on the idea that money that can be sent and received by anyone, anywhere in the world without reliance on trusted intermediaries, such as banks, and therefore transactions costs are significantly less that if intermediaries were involved.
How CryptoBuxx Gift Certificates Works
When an individual comes to the CrytoBuxx Products page, they can select from several popular crypto currencies and denomination, paper or digital type and number of Buxx requested. The system will price the coins at the current market value including transaction costs, and the individual can add them into their shopping cart for purchase.
Once a CryptoBuxx is sold, the corresponding crypto coins are purchased and held in a cold wallet offline for added security. Once the Buxx is shipped, the Buxx is activated and awaits redemption. The website walks users though creating their first crypto exchange account if they do not already have one. When the CryptoBuxx is redeemed, the coins are transferred to the redeemers crypto wallet.
